Yep, finally got around to picking it up yesterday at Costco. I wanted the BluRay version so badly, (after seeing the first movie in HiDef at a friend's house...Holy mother...It's like the difference between colour and black and white television, I swear. But I digress) but I lack equipment to play it on. *sadface* I almost got it anyway. >_>;;
I also would have preferred to get the Special Edition, because I'm a sucker for extras and commentaries and whatnot. But,...

I am so glad I rented this game first.

1. You CANNOt transform at will except for one highway level. Very annoying in a game called "TRANSFORMERS" but it helps if you keep reminding yourself it's really just a brawler in disguise. Gasp! Robots in disguise? However, most levels are designed so that transforming would be pointless.

2. I beat the game in just under 6 hours my first time through and found...

So I bummed the G1 season one dvds off a friend and have gotten a chance to watch the first five episodes. The animation ain't too bad, all things considered. The plot is pretty well what I expected. And then we have the voice acting.

Sweet, merciful, zombie messiah. The VOICE ACTING. Wow. It's just...Wow. I can not be the only one that's charmed by the epic fail those actors have going. XD

Who are the most tortured sparks/souls in Transformers G1 FF? Interested in peoples' views.

I would have said Starscream, Red Alert, Mirage, Spyglass, Bluestreak, Scavenger, Dirge for starters. Skywarp and TC seem to go through the mill somewhat as well.

Megatron and the Fallen in ROTF

What was up with Megatron being subservient to the Fallen in ROTF? Megatron isn't the type of guy to follow ANYONE'S lead. He always has to be the biggest and baddest mofo around. Then again, Megatron probably had his own agenda and was planning to doublecross the Fallen eventually.

At the risk of anthropomorphizing way, waaay too much, what would you expect our favorite (anti)heroes to prefer as a snack? Assuming, of course, that they could eat human food.

For example: The Blue One (otherwise known as Thundercracker) would be partial to beer nuts - with the beer, of course!

Crossovers that could work

It's no big secret that I'm not a fan of the crossovers that the TF comics have done. TFs & Spiderman, & Avengers, & Star Wars, & G. I. Joe, etc. etc. But I just got to thinking how a crossover with Marvel comics could work. I don't know if it's ever been done before, but ... TFs vs. Sentinels. Sic the giant robots of the Marvel universe on the Transformers. Then we could really see the merits of having an alternate form vs. giant robots that are one-mode only....
