So while messing about in my fic folder lately, I came across an old file I'd started but never finished indexing the canon characters I'd used in my fics. Since this is both handy as a personal reference and a good navigational tool for my website (after all, when looking for fanfic, we tend to look for stories revolving around a particular character), I completed it, messed around with the formatting and uploaded it to the website,

Well, actually, Mini MegaCon. BUT! It was still awesome. I, sadly, only got to go Saturday. I had been planning to go Sat. and Sun, but forgot that it was this weekend. Dunno how many of you lot will remember me, since I haven't been around much in the past year or so, but I used to be a regular around here.

What are your favorite fandoms, especially ones that the rest of us may never have heard of? (5 points apiece for each you have heard of!) Let us know, share the wealth!

My favorites are:

The old Epic Comics flagship Alien Legion. This story centers around Major Sarigar and Nomad Squad, a goup of aliens who have enlisted in the Legion to serve as a roving police force. They aren't the shiniest of characters - in fact, you wouldn't bring any of them...

I find myself standing in a living room surrounded by no less than 15 tanks. I believe that number is currently 17, but two are hospitall tanks with recovering sick fish.

Betta... boy, I never realised how lovely they were. For the longest time I really didn't like them. I just think it was the cups they were in.

I have about 15 now and somewhere in around 28 babies.

I lost a few to a fishroom outbreak of Dropsy directly related to the feeding of blackworms....

For those who might be entertaining a small itch to write some larger-than-life robots, there's a small little game gaining some steam with the release of the movie set in the early days of the Transformers mythos, back when everything was fine and dandy on their homeworld of Cybertron.

The good news is that it really IS an excessive amount of soda one has to drink to cause serious paralysis or other serious defects. Over 3 litres daily for a very long time. The funny thing is, I don't think I could drink that much...

I'm planning a trip to Canada very soon, and I'll be entering on Amtrak's Adirondack and returning on the Maple Leaf. Yes, I'd like to get to Toronto in time for TFCon. But even if I can't, I still expect to go this spring instead of waiting until next year. Please tell me, what should I do and bring with me to ensure I don't get turned back by customs? Enough cash to last seven days in either Canadian or US currency? I've had problems using my credit/debit...
