It does sort of cover all the bases, doesn't it?

I thought ROTF was unutterable dreck from beginning to end with only a few shining moments of glory (such as any time Jetfire was on screen). None of the new characters (human or robot) bar Jetfire served any plot purpose or was in any way likeable. No, that's not fair- I actually liked the Fallen because he was so ludicrously over-the-top and cheesy, but they could have given his entire role to Megatron without even changing...

They are making a third movie aren't they for release in 2011?

As for this one - it could have been worse but it also could have been a lot better. Not a patch on the forst one for plot, characterisation and impact.

I am liking only parts of it, and also disliking the rest. At least it satisfied my itching curiousity about it! The trailers and the Chevy display was all I seen before the movie, I had not seen anything else to clue me in on who was what. Also missed...

What Dogcatcher2009 said. The thing is, if you want to get very technical about the Femmebot equation of the fandom, both Arcee and Elita-1 play very pivotal roles (in that everyone wrotes mostly about them than the other Femmes - Elita because she's Prime's girlfriend, Arcee because she had more airtime). I simply find it ironic that, though Elita was one of the first to be introduced to the G1 canon, they chose Arcee instead. ^_^

Elita-1 was the leader of the female Autobots in the G1 cartoon. She was okay but I always felt that Arcee was a better character. I was glad to see her in the film.

So now that I've had a good amount of time to gather my nerdiness of RotF, have to say, it was good. In a general entertainment way, (unless you've sat fifthteen feet from the speakers which were fuzzing from the loudness >.<) I wasn't impressed much with the Arcee triplets much, and to me the overall 'feel' was too many characters without anything other than standing room. Not that they all have to speak, it just most seemed like they could have been utilized more....
