One of the drug reps has the world's CUTEST little TransFan. Could someone get David Kaye's autograph for the kid? Optimus is his favorite. (I've only got David Kaye's autograph on my gauntlets from last year (and the year before...) and on a rubber duckie, and the kid's not getting my duckie. Nor would he get the joke. sigh I feel so OLD...) Also, I need Weird Al's autograph like AIR. ;_; I wish I could go! I wonder who to petition for a concrete location, or a series of concrete locations that rotate- like, say, five sites that it visits in order? That'd be nice. At least it'd be predictable. ;_;

I should probably consider packing. I have a request and a question for the Botcon-goers. The request is as follows: one of my workmates has a secret passion for coins, and asked if I could pick him up a 'silver' dollar while I'm in the States. I have no idea how hard these are to come by, so if anyone who's going has one that they're not particularly attached to, can I take it off your hands? You will, of course, be fairly compensated. The question... where and when and in what numbers are we gathering mid-con? I know I haven't been that active on the Cell in recent months but that's all the more reason to see people and catch up. Usually limited to 2 items, photos w/ the star depends on the star & their time (if in a hurry to catch a flight or something - um, no). Of course, if there's a "group" of you, their mgmt might be more willing to allow a group photo (you only blind the star 1x for 3-5 ppl). After getting the Protoform pkg in 2007 - I will never again do it. I'll tack onto someone's Primus as a mini, or figure out how to float the extra $$ for the Primus - and resell the toys KAYEVCEE: I know we currently have a gold "dollar" that isn't tough to get. If nothing else - go to a local post office, buy some stamps from the vending maching w/ a $5 bill, and get the change in a gold dollar coin - or any bank, I would imagine. As for a "silver" dollar - I have no clue. We have them, but dunno if it's something major banks would have. I'll see if I can find out for you. ETA: Bank of America says there are 4 "gold" dollar coins in circulation. As near as I can tell, to get a "silver" dollar, it's an orderable item - either a roll of 25 (thus rather heavy), or some momento ones for $20. Also, you may be able to find a Susan B Anthony dollar - it's a "silver" coin, and rather common; minted through 1999..... ebay returns hits for $2 + shippping for a SBA coin in case, or about $3.50 buy it now.
