I came, I saw, I gaped. O. M. G. Blur! heartbreak So ok, he was an arrogant and annoying giltch, and I couldn't tell what he was saying half of the time, but he was loyal to the core, and he tried so hard, and he SO didn't deserve to die! ESPECIALLY like that. heartbreaks some more Well, If I learnt anything today, it's to never ever become a special agent for Autobots. You'd end up in a compactor or as braindead information box. Between how they treated Wasp (have you guys ever heard of trails?), and Arcee and Omega, they only need to start on "protoform X project" to get on my official "seriously evil bad guys, let's kick the slaggers afts". goes off to recruit DepthCharge I'm sure everyone's asking the question, including Autobots, - where the heck did that protoform come from? Also, I'm kind of... distasted... that it looked so much like a human baby. Come ON, just two seasons before Optimus was marveling at how strange human babies were, I'm sure he even said something about bots being assembled... and now this? What gives? "Sari, I'm coming!" "Bumblebee, NO!" "...gasp..." heartbreak and heartattack on my part Gods, but I love this scene... For a second there my mind went "OMG, she killed him!". Poor Ratchet, feeling so obsolite and useless, not to mention the flashbacks. But gotta love this little 'What are you gonna do, arrest me? HUFF!" I... had very inappropriate thoughts when Starscream was chewing through Megs' handcuffs. bleaches the brain Is it just me, or is the Allspark going wild with superpowers? First Screamer, then Sari... or was it the other way round? Either way, I'm all a-sqee at mechs having special abilities that mirror their names. (Ironhide! On that note, Blackout! you cute dangerous thing, you! ) ...Did they kill Rodimus too? Cosmic rust is supposed to be lethal, and it seemed to be a super-fast mutation... Teenage Mutant Ninja Tu Sari, teehee, well, at least all that training Prowl put her through (before Fanzone discouraged him) didn't go to waste. She sure can move. For some reason I loved Sari's side of this very-important-conversation. "I'm waiting..." "STILL waiting. " . And 'no, I will not be bribed with my favorite milk shake! slurp' HEEE! Guess even half organics can't resist their favorite fastfood BTW, I wonder what Blackarachnia will think of this... "We will be at burger king! that's where we'll be!" LOL. Optimus, dear, you couldn't act to save your live . Better stick to the commanding shtick, you're getting better and better at it I honestly didn't understand a word of what Perceptor said. I had the same problem with G1 Perceptor, though for different reason... but I guess nothing really changed for me. I still need a translator. ... Ratchet will do I've got a feeling Optimus had spent some time on the net, trying to figure out what on Earth was Masterson saying. How else would he know to use the n00b insult? That's the ticket, Opti, study your opponents! There's plenty more I was excited about, but can't recall it at the moment, so I'll just do everyone a favor and go to sleep now. Dang. XD Seconds on the whole "OMG she killed Bumblebee!" part. For a second, I thought they were gonna pull a Joss, like with what happened to Wash in Serenity. Which would've both made me sad, and made me go "Please sir, may I have another?" When someone serves you a dead dog for lunch, you do not stick around for the pudding.

Spoiler [+] that Blurr's not permanently dead? Yes, I know that being crushed into a cube and further 'disposed of' seems pretty permanent, but Animated hasn't gone in for permanent deaths yet (if I recall correctly). I don't see Cliffjumper being the most effective secretary in the world either, and it would be easy to say he just put the cube to one side and forgot about it. The series may never get around to reconstructing Blurr, if it never becomes a plot convenience, but for now I'm filing him under the 'written out until needed' category. I thought that in this series we established that when you're dead you turn gray like in the other universes. Spoiler [+] Okay, didn't find it a really compelling episode. A few good plot foreshadowing things: Possible future Constructicon merge if they survive which is likely. Lugnut with liar Screamer. An amusing use of Sludge as a stand in for the Sinclair Dinosaur, even the logo of Fossil Fuels harkened to Sinclair Oil. Why didn't Ratchet talk? Weird. Dirtboss? Eh, looked a lot like Modok. Short and stumpy and ugly.

I was disappointed that Dirtboss doesn't have a classic name, but I think he guarantees a Devastator character in the long run, because he's so obviously the head. I loved his design, personally. Spoiler [+] Mix and Scrapper were at a strip club! (well... kinda ) Now we know they're really construction workers. Was it just me, or was Ratchet a bit... eerie, when he pulled out that cerebro-shell without a word? Do you think he was having another flashback or something?. (Not to mention I was a bit surprised to see him there at all, he got squashed under Lugnut after all). Poor professor Sumduc... Dirtboss is neat. He's one of those guys I love to hate, and I like the look. (And there are times I SO wish I could treat certain people the way he dealt with Scrapper!) Although at the end he gave me a WTF moment. Was he suicidal or what, going straight to the top of a tank about to explode? Speaking of explosions, where was the tsunami? That kind of explosion should have flooded half of Detroit. grumbles Oh, and Fanzone, I love you and your description of suspects. Out of curiosity, who would be his corresponding Constructicon from the G1 crew? Humm... I don't think he translates to anyone. Neither do Mixmaster and Scrapper, not really. The only trait they share with original six are names and color schemes, I think. Hee, the Liar Clone is back! hugs the handsomest seeker. And they still haven't give him an official name. Dirtboss didn't have problems introducing himself to everyone he saw, and the poor clones are still running around nameless. Eh, sucks to be a clone. Lugnut's embarrasment was adorable

There was no forklift Constructicon. ( Heck, I can't offhand think of any forklift Transformer at all pre-Dirtboss. ) Cannibal Predacon is cannibal.

AniScrapper is a steamshovel, equivalent to G1 Scavenger. The only forklift I know which was announced before Dirt Boss is a Movie Basic toy, and even then only by a few days.
